1.) download the file 'TI-83Calculator.zip' attached below. 
2.) right click on the icon for 'TI-83Calculator.zip' and choose 'extract all.' i recommend choosing 'my documents' as the destination folder. 
3.) once extracted, run 'TI-83Calculator.exe' to install the software. you may be prompted with a message like 'allow the following program to make changes?' click 'yes' as this software will not harm your computer in any way.
4.) once the installation is complete, you will have a new program called 'TI-83 Plus Flash Debugger,' which emulates a TI-83 graphing calculator.
5.) watch the quick tutorial video on how to start the program.
